The multi-layer twisted structure provides strong load-bearing capacity, and the steel wire rope becomes the core sling for lifting and pulling operations.

In various operation scenarios such as engineering hoisting, equipment pulling, and cableway fixation, the reliability of load-bearing rigging directly affects construction safety. Steel wire ropes, relying on their unique structure of multiple strands of steel wire tightly wound together, possess both high strength and good flexibility. For a long time, they have been indispensable core components in lifting and pulling operations.

The steel wire rope is made by twisting multiple thin steel wires into strands, and then several strands are wound around the core of the rope in a spiral pattern to form the shape. This multi-layer composite structure can distribute the bearing tension. Compared to a single metal rod, it has better bending resistance and can smoothly cooperate with the drum and pulley to complete the winding operation. When subjected to force, the load is evenly distributed, and it has excellent impact resistance, which can cope with the instantaneous load changes that occur during the lifting process.

There is a wide variety of steel wire ropes available in the market, which can meet the diverse requirements of different working conditions. The smooth wire rope is suitable for dry indoor environments; the galvanized wire rope has an additional anti-corrosion coating and is suitable for humid and corrosive scenarios such as open-air, near water, and coastal areas; the stainless steel wire rope can be used in special environments where corrosive media exist, such as in chemical industries. Different wire rope diameters and structural specifications can meet various load-bearing requirements ranging from light pulling to large equipment lifting.

The excellent performance of the equipment cannot be achieved without proper use and regular inspection. Long-term friction, overloading during lifting, and squeezing by sharp edges can all cause wear and breakage of the steel wires. Before and after daily operations, it is necessary to carefully inspect the appearance of the rope. If you find concentrated broken wires, severe rust, twisting or deformation, you must immediately stop using it and replace it. When storing, keep it dry and well-ventilated to reduce the erosion of mud, sand and water, effectively extending the service life of the steel wire rope.
